What is Walk for Harmony?

The Victorian Government is leading a Harmony Walk to show Victoria’s strong support for multiculturalism and give all Victorian's an opportunity to come together and celebrate our multicultural society.

The walk begins at Carlton Gardens and continues along La Trobe Street to Swanston Street and will finish at Federation Square.

Monash University is showing its support for cultural diversity in Victoria by joining the Walk for Harmony. All students, staff, alumni, family and friends are encouraged to be part of this great event, and be part of the Monash community by wearing their TeamMONASH™ tops, or anything 'Monash University' will do!

For further information on the background of the event, please refer to the Premier of Victoria's media release.

Location Maps

TeamMONASH™ will be meeting at the corner of Rathdowne Street and Victoria Parade (refer to the linked map below). We are unable to have our marquee at the event, so look out for fellow participants wearing their TeamMONASH™ or Monash University tops.
