As a member of the TeamMONASH™ Support Crew you have the opportunity to enjoy the fun and the experience of the Portsea Swim Classic without even raising a sweat.
All volunteers receive a certificate, an official Support Crew t-shirt, and access to the TeamMONASH™ marquee on the day.
All volunteer positions have now been filled. If you missed out for this event, we encourage you to be part of the fun by coming down on the day and cheering for your fellow TeamMONASH™ participants.
All fundraising generated from the Portsea Swim Classic event goes to ensure the survival of the volunteer Portsea Surf Life Saving Club to provide adequate services to the community in the future.
Portsea Surf Life Saving Club is one of Australia’s largest and most respected Surf Life Saving Clubs, providing volunteer rescue and surveillance services to the community on one of the world’s most notorious and dangerous stretches of beach.
Since the founding members first set up patrol, Portsea SLSC members have been responsible for saving over 5,000 lives, as a direct result of the Club assisting over 1,600 young men and women to gain the Surf Life Saving Australia's coveted Bronze Medallion.
The Portsea Back Beach is patrolled by volunteer lifesavers from Portsea Surf Life Saving Club every weekend from December through to Easter.
